Volunteer with Compassus Hospice

We are looking for a Pet Therapy, Artists, Musicians, and VA Vets to join our team. This position will involve providing therapeutic services to our patients in an effort to improve their overall health and wellbeing. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working with animals, art, music, and/or veterans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic services to patients through pet therapy, art therapy, music therapy, or veteran outreach
• Develop individualized plans for each patient based on their needs and preferences
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust plans accordingly
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all treatments are coordinated effectively
• Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed at all times
• Requirements:
• Experience working with animals, art, music and/or veterans preferred
• Ability to work well with a diverse group of people
• Excellent communication skills
• Empathy and understanding of patient needs
• Knowledge
