About this Opportunity
Queens Community House’s Friendly Visiting Program seeks volunteers to provide thoughtful and engaging weekly phone calls to isolated older adults with range of interests, hobbies, religious and political beliefs. Visits can be either in person or via phone.
We currently have Rego Park older adults who would like a weekly visit or phone call. Contact us and we can tell you about them and maybe one is very close or sounds like an interesting person to you. Maybe you share interests or are so nearby that it would be a perfect match.
