About this Opportunity

The Remote Delivery Class Assistant is responsible for supporting the delivery of specific remote/virtual classes to participants in the community in order to meet stated objectives.

  • Provide technical assistance to participants who need immediate technical support during the class.
  • Assist the Class Assistant by offering a second set of eyes for monitoring safety of participants.
  • Have participants contact information and emergency contact information handy during class sessions.
  • At the beginning and end of class, assist the Instructor in their effort to encourage interactive discussion about the concepts and skills
  • Support the Instructor by assisting with attendance and any other necessary documentation to EAAA per program requirements.

    • Location of position: Can be done from Eastern Area Agency on Aging office at 240 State Street, Brewer, and/or from individuals home.

    Approximate hours per week: 1.5 to 10 hours (depending on individuals schedule)

    Days of the week: M-F (classes vary in time, there are options between 8am and 4pm Monday through Friday)
