About this Opportunity

The packer is responsible to assist the Local Coordinator with counting and packing meals, food, or pet food for delivery. We are looking for 2 volunteers.

Mondays: 8 - 11am

Tuesdays: 8 - 9:30am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assembles product at the direction of Local Coordinator.
  • Tracks and reports volunteer hours and mileage to the Local Coordinator as directed.
  • Practices food/product safety standards during the performance of duties as advised by the supervisor.
  • Performs basic mathematical functions (add, subtract, multiply and divide)

    • GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:

  • Maintains confidentiality of all client information.
  • Represents Eastern Area Agency on Aging positively by remaining flexible and maintaining a pleasant, friendly and sociable attitude.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for position-related requirements.
  • Provide at least 24 hours notice, whenever possible, when not able to attend scheduled volunteer time due to other obligations or illness.
