We strive to unite people and resources to improve lives and build a strong and healthy community. We do this by identifying local needs and addressing their root causes; raising funds to meet those needs; and, collaborating on local initiatives that create a measurable difference in Greater Franklin County.The goal of our Social and Digital Media Development project is to strengthen our presence in the community and outlying areas through coordinating our social media presence with LinkedIn, Facebook Twitter, blogging, Pinterest, et al with an eye to increasing traffic to our various online connections, including our website with uploading and updating of digital media.Responsibilities:At a minimum, the student intern will work to improve our online presence by making our website engaging and interactive creating a community conversation and loyalty.For digital media development, we would like the intern to update online digital files and keep current those files appropriate to ongoing events and activities, capturing online articles and other media outlets, as well as those of our partners.We are anticipating a need for developing an online auction and online yard sale.Qualifications: Passion for making a positive difference in the community Good telephone, writing, and computer skills Experience with social media and website development Experience with uploading digital media is necessary Experience/skill with blogging is a plusWe are particularly interested in someone with creative, fresh ideas and willing to explore new concepts.
