Alliance for Community Empowerment (ACE) in Canoga Park, CA is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved individuals and families through education, workforce training, leadership development, and supportive services. ACE works to help youth and adults overcome barriers, build skills, and transform their lives while strengthening community resilience and opportunity. The VISTA Summer Associate will enhance YouthBuild¿s capacity to recruit, engage, and support opportunity youth by developing sustainable systems for outreach, community engagement, and alumni integration. Through targeted recruitment strategies, hands-on community service initiatives, and strong alumni connections, the VISTA Summer Associate will increase program visibility, strengthen partnerships, and connect eligible youth to education, workforce training, and supportive services¿addressing poverty by creating pathways to long-term economic stability and success.
