Summer Associate - Community Engagement and Recruitment- NY

Youth Action YouthBuild East Harlem (YAYB) is committed to helping young adults become dedicated, responsible, educated, accountable, motivated and self-sufficient, by assisting participants in obtaining their HSE¿s, obtaining post-secondary education, gaining industry credentials and securing sustainable employment, particularly in the areas of construction, the food economy and the building trades. The VISTA Summer Associate will strengthen YouthBuild¿s capacity to recruit and engage opportunity youth by developing sustainable outreach, digital engagement, and recruitment systems that increase program visibility, build community partnerships, and improve participant enrollment and retention. Through strategic in-person outreach, consistent social media presence, and data-informed recruitment processes, the VISTA Summer Associate will help expand access to education, workforce training, and supportive services¿addressing poverty by connecting individuals to pathways for economic stability and long-term success.
