26-27 GirlVentures Development and Marketing Associate VISTA

GirlVentures inspires girls to lead through outdoor adventure, inner discovery, and collective action. Our organization offers outdoor leadership programming engaging girls (ages 11-17) in backpacking, kayaking, and rock-climbing adventures in the California wilderness. Using immersion in nature and social-emotional learning as catalysts for personal transformation, we prepare participants to lead inclusive, resilient communities, and motivate youth to protect the natural world.

As our Development and Marketing Associate VISTA, you will be critical in helping us acquire the resources needed to sustain all aspects of our programming, increasing what we can offer our participants while expanding our network of supporters and students. You will work closely with our Executive Director and Board Development Committee to secure funding opportunities, upgrade marketing and enrollment efforts, and ensure successful fundraising campaigns throughout the year.

During the program, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills in individual and event fundraising, prospect research, systems building and marketing strategies. You're organized, connect the details to the big picture, like to design and edit, and build connections.
