25-26 Pierce Conservation District Habitat Stewardship Tech

This is an AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding an open until filled. The Green Tacoma Partnership aims to restore and maintain forested parks and open space. The partners include the City of Tacoma, Metro Parks Tacoma, Pierce Conservation District, businesses, and non-profits. The partnership works with local communities to recruit, train, and support volunteer stewards. The stewards lead forest restoration projects in priority parks and open spaces. The member will help us build a strong culture of care for urban forests through hands-on projects and community engagement. We will conduct rolling review of applications and interviews until position is filled. Monthly stipend amount: $2,438.
