About this Opportunity
Healing Action Network is committed to fostering safety, healing, and recovery for survivors of human trafficking and exploitation. Grounded in trauma-informed, survivor-centered care, our vision is a future where exploitation no longer exists.
As the only AmeriCorps program in the U.S. focused solely on human trafficking, the Volunteer Service Link connects members with victim service organizations to enhance survivor support and build community capacity. Responsibilities Conduct research on public health and human trafficking best practices, including trauma-informed and survivor-centered care. Assist in developing statewide standards, protocols, and toolkits to improve the quality and consistency of survivor services. Collaborate with public health agencies, service providers, and partners to gather input on tools and resources. Create accessible educational materials, summaries, and guides for health and human service providers. Track and document feedback, data, and research findings to support continuous improvement. Support systems for gathering and integrating stakeholder input into public health initiatives. Service Environment This is a hybrid position with remote work, office tasks, and community engagement. Service may take place in government offices, training sites, or community forums. Occasional local travel may be required for stakeholder meetings or presentations. Ideal Candidate Analytical: Enjoys research, data, and turning information into action. Collaborative: Works well with agencies, providers, and partners. Clear Communicator: Translates complex topics into usable resources. Organized: Manages documentation, feedback, and timelines. Public Health Oriented: Committed to equity and systems change. Join our team to help improve public health responses to trafficking through research, education, and policy development.
