Grace Helping Hands is a grassroots organization that provides toiletry kits to homeless women and children through partnerships with local shelters and pantries. Founded in 2024, the organization focuses on giving access to essential items like feminine hygiene products, soap, and toothbrushes to support dignity and health. With the help of volunteers, they assemble kits, manage social media, write grants, and handle distribution logistics. In their first month of operations, they distributed 370 kits and continue to work toward expanding their reach.

1. Help Make Toiletry Kits:Volunteers will assist in assembling toiletry kits for homeless women and children. This involves organizing donated items such as feminine hygiene products, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and other essentials, then packing them into kits for distribution.

2. Help with Grant Writing:For those with strong writing and research skills, volunteers can help secure funding by drafting grant proposals to potential donors, organizations, and government programs. This involves understanding the mission of Grace Helping Hands, crafting compelling narratives, and detailing how funds will be used to support the organizations goals.

3. Help with Social Media Presence:Volunteers with marketing or social media experience can assist in creating content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Tasks include posting updates, promoting events, sharing success stories, and engaging with followers to increase awareness and build a community around the organization.

4. Help with Updating Our Website:Volunteers with web development or content management experience can help maintain and improve the organizations website. This may involve updating event information, posting news articles, optimizing the website for user experience, and ensuring all details about the organization are accurate and up-to-date.

5. Help with Distribution of Kits (Limited):Volunteers may assist with distributing toiletry kits to partner shelters and pantries. This includes coordinating logistics, delivering kits, and sometimes interacting with staff at partner organizations to ensure smooth distribution.

6. Help with Administrative TasksVolunteers can support the organization's daily operations by assisting with tasks such as organizing records, managing email correspondence, coordinating volunteer schedules, and maintaining inventory of donated goods.
