About this Opportunity
Grace Helping Hands is seeking a skilled and motivated volunteer Website Manager to oversee and maintain our nonprofits website. This role is ideal for adults with professional experience in web management, digital communications, or IT who are passionate about supporting our mission to provide hygiene kits to homeless women and children in our community.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Optimize website navigation and user experience for visitors and potential donors.
Collaborate with the GHH team to add new programs, events, and fundraising campaigns online.
Monitor website performance and recommend improvements or updates.
Support integration of online donation tools and volunteer sign-up forms.
Qualifications:
Professional experience managing websites (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or similar platforms preferred).
Basic knowledge of web design, SEO, and digital content management.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Passion for nonprofit work and community impact.
Impact:
By volunteering as our Website Manager, you will help Grace Helping Hands reach more donors, volunteers, and partners, ultimately expanding our ability to provide hygiene kits to women and children in need across Howard, Montgomery, and Prince Georges Counties, Baltimore County/City and Washington DC.
