About this Opportunity

Opportunity Overview: 
The Boston Community Gardens Events team is looking for musicians and performers to perform at garden events this year. Events are a great way for visitors and community members to engage with the gardens and get to know their neighbors. Performers add so much to the atmosphere of the events, so we are looking to expand our roster of performers for this year. Join us in the gardens! 

Reports to: Community Outreach and Events Coordinator 

Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to the following): 

  • Providing music or other artistic performance for visitors including families, children, and adults at events 
  • Adhere to The Trustees safety and COVID-19 protocols 
  • Log volunteer hours 
Qualifications: 
  • Experience performing in front of an audience 
  • Family-friendly performance 
  • Have reliable transportation to the property 
  • Dress in appropriate clothes and footwear for varying weather conditions 
  • Minimum age: 18 years old 
  • Please note: A background check is required for this role
