Our mission is to empower and uplift communities through collaborative partnerships, dedicated staff, and impactful programs designed to create positive change.

Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented volunteer to assist with data entry and enrollment tasks at CAPUP. This role involves entering guest information into our databases (EmpowOR and Link2Feed) following intake, as well as supporting the rental assistance program by helping with related tasks. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring accurate data management and efficient service delivery to individuals in need.

Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Input required data and guest enrollments into the EmpowOR and Link2Feed systems following intake sessions.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all data entered into the databases.

  • Communicate with Basic Needs staff to ensure guests’ needs are met and information is correctly recorded.

  • Follow confidentiality protocols and safeguard guest information.

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Comfortable working with databases and data entry systems (experience with EmpowOR, Link2Feed, or similar platforms is a plus).

  • Basic knowledge of rental assistance programs and social services is helpful but not required.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Respect for confidentiality and privacy of guest information.

Time Commitment:

Volunteers will be expected to work for two hour shifts (for part of the food pantry + some time after). Your support will directly impact the well-being of our neighbors, and together, we can bring hope and comfort to those who need it most.

Thank you for your consideration in supporting this important initiative! We look forward to partnering with you to uplift our community.
