Childcare Helper (Woodbine)

Begin Anew is a faith-based education organization working to empower individuals to overcome obstacles caused by poverty by providing education, mentoring, and resources. Begin Anew operates programs at 4 locations (Woodbine, Downtown Nashville, Madison, and Franklin) as well as a new Online program. Along with weekly Bible study and no-cost programming and care for our students’ children, we offer three education tracks in separate programs to men and to women: HSE (High School Equivalency), ELL (English Language Learners), and Computer and Job Skills.

One of the goals of Begin Anew is to break down any possible barriers for our adult students so that they can attend these classes. A key way we do that is providing childcare for the children of students when they are in classes. We are in need of additional childcare help for our Monday or Thursday night programming at our Woodbine campus, which happens from 6:00 - 8:00pm.

A background check is required in order to volunteer, and training will be provided by the Program Manager or Children's Coordinator at the campus.
