Kitchen Assistance

Brief Organizational Description:
Village Green RVA seeks to harness the generosity of community resources to help families thrive. This includes preparing healthy and accessible food for community partners while also providing programming for foster, adoptive, and kinship families. 

Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Kitchen Assistance happens every Tuesday & Thursday at Village Green. Sorting and prepping food and items to be made into meals and to be delivered to Community Fridges is so important to our mission!

Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Volunteers will prepare food items to be put into individual containers for Community Fridges, cook food for specific meals, and help sort items to give to community partners. 

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
No specific skills needed.

Time Commitment:
Kitchen Assistance is from 1pm-3pm on Tuesdays and 1pm-4pm on Thursdays.

• Volunteers will be sent an email with any information needed once they have signed up. 
• Dress comfortably!
