Cook Day

Brief Organizational Description:
Village Green RVA seeks to harness the generosity of community resources to help families thrive. This includes preparing healthy and accessible food for community partners while also providing programming for foster, adoptive, and kinship families. 

Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Cook Days happen every Friday at Village Green RVA. Preparing and cooking food and meals to be delivered to Community Fridges and community partners is so important to our mission!

Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Volunteers will prepare food items to be put into individual containers for Community Fridges, cook food for specific meals, and help sort items to give to community partners. 

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
No specific skills needed.

Time Commitment:
Cook Day is from 9am-12pm on Fridays

• Volunteers will be sent an email with any information needed once they have signed up. 
• Dress comfortably!
