Looking for a unique & incredibly rewarding way to serve your local community and make a difference?Share your professional expertise to meet the needs of our hospice patients! Hospice & Community Care is seeking skilled volunteer Hair Stylists to provide hair cuts to patients in their home residences, senior nursing facilities, or our Inpatient Center in Mount Joy.

For patients in our care, this service can provide comfort and joy, and a much-appreciated respite from the daily physical and mental challenges faced as a result of their serious illness. Hair stylist volunteers equally benefit, as their service can bring an immense sense of purpose and satisfaction.

Hair stylist volunteers must possess a current, valid Pennsylvania Cosmetology license, have their own tools/supplies and reliable transportation. Training will be provided. No time commitment is necessary, and patient visits can be designed to best fit a volunteer's busy schedule.
