Driver's Assistant

Volunteer participation directly helps our organization distribute hundreds, even thousands, of pounds of food and resources to our community. Volunteers can tag along with our Food Shuttle drivers to learn the behind-the-scenes work of a food bank! They will act as the driver's right-hand for the day.

As our drivers make their way on their route, volunteers will help them load/unload food donations and record food weight. Volunteers should feel comfortable lifting approx. 40 lbs. (a medium bag of dog food).

This opportunity is perfect for active retirees, individuals seeking service hours, and more!
