Tutor Refugees and Immigrants in Citizenship and English for Speakers of Other Languages

Do you think that you could pass the citizenship test?

Tutors offer individualized support to adult learners working to get their US citizenship at our center in Lake City and online. They develop lesson plans focused on individual students' needs at all skill levels and the students own goals, promoting students' self-sufficiency and working with them towards greater independence. Instruction focuses on ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) basic skills and Citizenship content- US history and civics, and USCIS naturalization interview skills.

Bilingualism and/or experience working with adult immigrants and/or refugees is a plus. Training and support will be provided.
