Calling All Bingo Lovers!

Do you love Bingo? Share your enthusiasm with our wonderful senior residents! For many of our residents, Bingo is a highlight of their week, offering a chance to socialize, engage their minds, and enjoy some friendly competition. Your support as a Bingo Volunteer will directly contribute to their happiness and well-being.

As a Bingo Volunteer, you will:

• Help transport residents to and from the Bingo room, ensuring their comfort and safety (wheelchairs and walkers).
• Guide residents in locating numbers on their Bingo cards, especially those who may need a little extra assistance.
• Distribute prizes to lucky winners and help foster a lively and encouraging atmosphere through smiles and positive interaction.

Additional Information:

We are committed to the safety and well-being of our residents. New volunteers will attend a brief orientation to learn about our procedures and the best ways to support our residents. In addition, a Department of Human Services background study with fingerprinting is required for all volunteers working with vulnerable adults, ensuring a safe environment for everyone at Lyngblomsten. We will guide you through this simple process.
