9/18-19/20  BLM Maintenance Facility: Mequon, WI

Duties/Responsibilities:

Welcome attendees at events.

Identify the BLM Point of Contact.

Provide directions to event attendees on location of restroom facilities and vendors.

Hand out comment cards and provide information on accurately completing the cards.

Serve as an ambassador for the BLM’s Wild Horse and Burro Program.

A willingness to work as part of a team

Willing to wear BLM-approved Volunteer tee shirt, cap or vest.

This position requires a professional and friendly demeanor and the volunteer should be excited to represent the Bureau of Land Management.

Volunteer must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively with a wide range of people and personalities.

Prior to entering on duty, applicants may be subject to pass an agency background check.

Working Conditions: This position requires standing and/or walking for extended periods in both indoor and outdoor settings. Volunteer will work in a variety of weather conditions that may include wind, rain, mud, thunderstorms, bright sun, sleet, ice and/or snow. Working on weekends and holidays may occur.
