Walking and Shopping Buddy Needed for Local Lady

A local lady with an interest in shopping locally and getting out for a little people to people contact in the local Bristol and Plainville area needs a volunteer buddy. She likes the local discount and chain department stores. Spend time with this local lady whose interests include making teddy bears from old fur coats and who in her hay day sewed dresses and jackets.

Requirements to be a great volunteer include:

• a desire to help others;
• a pleasant demeanor;
• a good reading/speaking voice;
• average reading skills;
• organizational or planning abilities;
• a good driving record;
• a clear criminal history;
• two references
• access to a car with proof of insurance;

a minimum of $50/100k liability and $5,000 of property damage coverage
