Are you detail-oriented, financially savvy, and passionate about using your skills to make a difference? Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is seeking a dedicated Accountant to help manage our nonprofit’s finances and ensure transparency with our donors, partners, and community.

About Us:

Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization saving the lives of abandoned and abused dogs and cats across California and Mexico. Through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming, we give animals a second chance. Our work is made possible by a passionate team—and powerful storytelling.

Role Summary:

As our Accountant, you will play a critical role in keeping our organization financially healthy and accountable. You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Creating monthly and annual financial reports
• Assisting with grant reporting and compliance
• Supporting preparation of audits and tax filings (Form 990)

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in nonprofit accounting (required)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS nonprofit regulations
• Based in the USA
