About Us:

Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving California and Mexico. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome sick, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats. We also provide spay and neuter services through local clinic partnerships and promote responsible pet ownership within our communities.

Role Summary:

As a Donor Relations Volunteer, you will help manage and expand our donor program online. Your work will involve researching potential donors, maintaining relationships with existing supporters, and supporting fundraising initiatives that directly fund rescue operations, medical care, and community programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Researching potential donors, sponsors, and philanthropic organizations
• Assisting with donor outreach and engagement strategies
• Helping manage donor communications, thank-you notes, and updates
• Supporting online fundraising campaigns and appeals
• Tracking outreach progress and maintaining donor records

What We're Looking For:

• Organized and detail-oriented with strong research skills
• Comfortable communicating in writing with professionalism and warmth
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Experience in fundraising, development, or donor relations is a plus, but not required
