About Maya’s Hope:

Maya’s Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps children living in extreme poverty and with complex medical needs in Ukraine and the Philippines. Through our fundraising events, we raise vital support for children who need urgent medical care, basic necessities, and education assistance.

Volunteer Role:

We are seeking a volunteer photographer to capture vibrant, high-quality images at our upcoming Karaoke Speakeasy Night—a fun, casual fundraiser that brings together our community of supporters in New York City.

Responsibilities:

• Capture candid and posed photos of attendees throughout the event
• Photograph key moments, including performances, group shots, and venue atmosphere
• Provide a selection of edited high-resolution photos (100+ images) within one week of the event
• Coordinate with the Maya’s Hope team on any special photo needs

Qualifications:

• Experience with event or portrait photography
• Access to your own camera and equipment
• Comfortable working in low-light indoor environments
• Professional, friendly, and discreet around guests
• Commitment to delivering photos by the agreed-upon timeline

Time Commitment:

• 3 hours on-site (6:00 PM to 9:00 PM)
• Plus time for post-event photo editing and delivery
