About this Opportunity
Community Volunteer Fire Department (CVFD) is always looking for more firefighters! Comprised of approximately 300 dedicated men and women, the Community Volunteer Fire Department is an all-hazard, full-service agency that responds to over 12,000 calls annually.
If you do not have any fire experience, we teach a full recruit class which results in Texas certification through SFFMA.
CVFD's protection district is located on the West/Southwest side of Houston, TX. We do not have a residency requirement, and we have some volunteers that travel an hour or more to serve with us.
