About this Opportunity
Community Volunteer Fire Department (CVFD) is always looking for more firefighters! So far in 2015 between fire and EMS, CVFD is averaging 23.1 incident responses per day. If you are looking to see some action and give back to the community, CVFD may be the department for you.
If you do not have any fire experience, we teach a full recruit class which results in Texas certification through SFFMA.
CVFD's protection district is located on the West/Southwest side of Houston, TX. We do not have a residency requirement, and we have some volunteers that travel an hour or more to serve with us.
