Strong Girls United (SGU) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls through sports, mentorship, and mental health programming. We believe in the power of sport as a pathway to confidence, community, and long-term well-being.

This VISTA position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit program management and community outreach while contributing to SGU¿s national expansion. The Program Development & Community Outreach VISTA will work closely with the SGU Program Manager to coordinate and grow key initiatives¿including our Strong Girls U university mentorship program, school-based programs, community events, and annual leadership conferences.

This is a third-year VISTA project, offering the chance to build on existing systems while creating new, sustainable infrastructure to support future growth. We¿re seeking a motivated, mission-driven candidate who¿s passionate about youth development, girls¿ empowerment, and teamwork. This role provides a meaningful way to make an impact while developing skills in program design, partnership engagement, and nonprofit operations.
