About this Opportunity

Volunteer at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park!

Work will include general greeting of visitors, orienting visitors to the Atlanta sites and to educate them on the importance of the events at Kennesaw Mountain, and providing trail directions.

  • Represent Kennesaw Mountain NBP by helping local, national, and international visitors develop a better understand and enjoyment of the park.

Operations tasks include:

  • Greeting park visitors,
  • Providing information on cultural, historical, and natural points of interest in the area and throughout the park,
  • Some knowledge of local area and the basic history, will be necessary to answer visitor questions, including how to access attractions from the visitor center.

NOTE: Mountain Top Greeters/Guides are provided with a uniform shirt, baseball cap, and name tag. All park issued attire and equipment must be returned when the volunteer ceases his/her service to the park.

This is an on-going position with year around availability. 

AVAILABLE OPENINGS: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
